Ok so if you’ve been following along on the Kitchen contest win you are aware that it turned into a shit show. Something that was so amazing and exciting turned into one of the worst experiences. Still boggles my mind really. Many of you told me to go public. Contact TV shows, newspapers and the BBB even. Hell some of you even went as far as tweeting Mike Holmes about this whole situation and for that I thank you. You all have no idea how much your support has meant to us.

Going more public than social media and my blog just isn’t me an as angry and frustrated as I was I know that would’ve only made matters worse. Seeing as there was an email after my last blog post saying that his lawyer would be in touch. I wasn’t worried about the lawyer as I did nothing wrong. I just told people what was going on and he knew that at the end of this there would be a blog post. Seeing as we weren’t getting any return calls or emails we decide it was the end!

 

Now on to HAPPY NEWS!

 

 

If you remember my biggest desire was to have doors on the cabinets that were installed. Well I’m pleased to say that wish is coming true.  I received an email yesterday from IKEA saying they were going to send me all the doors for our kitchen. Not some but all the doors. I am completely blown away that they are doing this and I honestly don’t think I could ever say thank you enough. So once more

THANK YOU IKEA!

 

You completely rocked my world! You didn’t have to do anything but yet you went out of your way and went above and beyond. I’m blown away.

With this new development we have made another decision – We are removing all the upper cabinets that Kitchen Fitters installed and replacing them with all new IKEA ones. To be honest if it wasn’t so difficult we’d also take all the lower ones. Why you ask am I doing this? Well it’s simple – I want to erase as much of the Kitchen Fitters mess as I can.
