Please see the Kitchen Reno Update 

OMG OMG OMG

To say we are a little excited about our Kitchen Fitters resurface makeover is a huge understatement! Let the pursuing of Pinterest begin 🙂 Ok who am I kidding I’ve being pursuing there for a while now.

Seeing as I’ve been saying thank you so much lately Facebook now seems to think I am spamming people well that or people are tired of me saying thank you and have now started reporting me as spam. So let me say it here this very minute –

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

All the kind things that have been said about us and sharing of our photo over the last couple of months has touched us more than you can ever now. We like to think that we help people when we can and we do it not expecting anything in return so the fact that you all did this for us is truly touching – ok my Taylor Swift moment is now over now back to the wooting and jumping!

So here is the before photo of the kitchen……

The kitchen itself is bright and a fairly good size it’s the layout that doesn’t work and it’s also quite dated as you can see. We have lived in out house now for almost 6 months (I know I can’t believe it’s been six months already either) and it’s been fine but it had always been one of the first things on “the list” that was to be updated.

Now for some of the things that I’ve seen and liked. Keep in mind there is some dance kitchens here and those aren’t what I was pinning but rather there was something in the image that I like and would like to possibly include.

 

I suspect that our Kitchen makeover will likely happen in 2-3 stages as there is only so much money to invest so not everything can be done at once. The Kitchen Fitters contest win is a HUGE step in getting the bones of what we want so we’ll start there first.

Stage 1 – cupboards, counters, flooring and painting

Stage 2 – appliances, lighting, backsplash

Stage 3 – window and coffee station

 

So I’m curious do you have some helpful kitchen reno suggestions for us? What is the one design in your kitchen that you love/hate. Help a girl out. I normally shop in camera stores and the Apple store so this whole home decorating thing is very new to me 🙂
