I always love the Ottawa Tulip Festival it’s the sure sign that spring has arrived. My favorite flowers are tulips as well so I’m in double heaven, if that’s even possible.
We tried to go on Sunday for Mother’s Day but it was so cold that we didn’t stay long. Monday however was beautiful so I packed up all my stuff and headed into the city, I saved a horse but took my car, were I spent the day taking pictures. I got a parking ticket but that’s a whole different story. After i finished up at Dows Lake I headed into the Arboretum. If you’ve never been to it you just have to make the time and go. All the trees are coming into bloom so it’s very pretty.
Anyway I’m off to pay my parking ticket and because everything is prettier with a picture……enjoy!
