A couple weeks ago I posted about Beautiful You sessions that I was starting to do. Well I’ve now done a few and I can’t get over how much I am absolutely loving doing these photo sessions. The one thing that I am also learning as that I am far from the only women that has let feeling beautiful about myself take a bit of a backseat to all the other roles that I play.
Other the last couple of weeks the one thing I’ve started doing is taking a little time to do something for myself everyday. It doesn’t have to be fancy, hell there’s not a lot of fancy in my life, just something even if it’s only five minutes. I spent 10 minutes sitting on the deck in the sunshine enjoying my coffee one day and to me it was everything, see not fancy.

Sandy Allen - My most beautiful feature? I like my boobs and my waist but I’d have to say it is my personality that makes me beautiful. I love life, love people and love making people smile and feel happy.

Lara - I love my heart the best. Because its open (even though that leads to being called too sensitive from time to time). Id rather be “sensitive” than blocked off from all the potential in the world.
Sarah H - i have a new appreciation for my eyes. My 10 month old son has my eyes and I’m routinely told how stunning and beautiful his eyes are, which reminds me that my eyes are beautiful as well.
I also have a soft spot for the stretch marks on my belly. They remind me that my body has nourished and grown two beautiful babies.

Loukia - CL, to this day, people comment on the pictures you took of me that are on my business cards. Those pictures are my absolute favourites of all time! And I would DIE for another session with you… today I found out that I’m one of the affected employees with Health Canada because of the budget cuts, so to WIN a session would be a dream and a great pick-me-up. 🙂
My favourite feature? My smile, when I’m with my boys, because it’s the most real and truthful smile. Totally from the heart. 🙂
Leslie Scott - I’ve always been complemented on my green eyes, with the little ring of yellow around them. But, I truly believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I think my warm heart is my most beautiful feature. I put others before myself, and enjoy making everyone’s day with a simple hello, flowers, a text or whatever. My family and friends mean the world to me, and I do my best to show them that each and every day!
