I had so much fun Photographing Angela and Kevin’s wedding! These two are so much in love with one another that every time you seen them looking at one another there where these big ol smiles on their face that just made everyone around them smile as well. I was incredible to be a part of this celebration.
The fact that I got to go to Sault Ste Marie was a huge bonus, it was years since I’d been there and so much had changed but so much was the same. I love northern Ontario and have travelled through a lot of it you’d be hard pressed to find people any better than people from Northern Ontario.
I want to send out a huge thank you to Jo-Ann and Daryl for hosting me for the weekend at their house I had so much fun and I may or may not still be sending a certain someone pictures from around the lake during my awesome boat ride ! I also need to add in that Daryl makes a hell of a lasagna. It really was a great weekend – thank you again.
The day may have started out a little grey and cold but things started to clear right after the ceremony and honestly with all the celebrations that were going on the weather was not an issue in the least. I met Angela and the girls at the hairdresser that morning were the excitement was very clear and could be heard throughout the salon It was so fun to be a part of. After Hair and makeup it was time to head back to Angela’s parents house were all the girls were getting ready. I got a sneak peek at Angela’s wedding dress the night before but let me just say seeing her in her wedding dress bought tears to my eyes and hell I’m just the photographer I couldn’t imagine the thoughts going through everyone else’s head.
Once I finished up some pictures at the house it was time to head to the church to see what the boys were up too. Well as i entered the church I was greeted with the sound of laughter an excitement all over again. I’m honestly not sure to this day who was more excited Kevin or Angela. All I do know is that heading into the weekend I didn’t know either of them terribly well but it was so evident that these two could not wait to be married to each other. The wedding had so many special details and touches that were important to them. From the blessing of Angela’s engagement ring to the moment they stopped to say thank you to their parents the whole day was incredible.
Seeing as it was wet outside we headed to the Plane museum to do pictures and it was so incredible – I will be posting some of those photos in the near future. The party had already started at this point but it was time to take the bus to Grand Gardens and really get things started and let me just tell you this group does not disappoint when it comes to having fun!
If anyone had any doubt how much Angela and Kevin’s friends and family meant to them is was pretty clear as at the end of the night a large city bus pulled up out front of the reception hall to drive all the guest home safety. How amazing is that!
Angela and Kevin thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding day it was truly and honour. I wish you nothing but happiness and joy in your marriage and the many years to come!
