It amazes me every time that I get behind my camera that I get to do this for a living.
I started doing Beautiful You sessions because somewhere along the road I forgot that I was a woman first. With all my responsibilities I decided that my needs took a back seat.
Then there was the fact that I wasn’t the size that I use to be and never wanted to be in front of a camera. As a result, I don’t have a lot of pictures of myself. The weird part is I see beauty inside of so many women that are dealing with the same thing as I am.
When I photograph these women and they look at the back of my camera, the first thing they say is “Oh my god, that’s me” and sometimes they well up with tears. I LOVE helping women rediscover this about themselves. Never let your age, size or the fact that you’re a mom or a wife or your age determine who you are.
