This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Fred and Melanie’s wedding. I met Melanie a while before Fred but on our first meeting all together you could feel the sparks flying between these two. It’s a wonder my hair wasn’t standing on end by the time I left their house from all the electricity flying around.
The day started off with me meeting Melanie and her entourage at Bay Street Spa and Salon in Embrun. All were in good spirits and all ready to face the day. For any of you that know Melainie you already know how beautiful the woman is so by the time she left she was stunning. Her hair and makeup was perfect. On the way back to the house it was a quick stop to pick up the floweres at Passiflora.
We had time for a few pictures than it was off the the church to get this woman married. When I arrived at the church and I seen Fred- who may I say was looking pretty dapper as well, all he wanted to know was how Mel was doing. I don’t think there was any nervousness on either side they were just looking forward to being married.
As with any wedding there were tears of excitement and a warmth in the church that just made you so happy to be witnessing their marriage. The wedding ceremony was touching with a little humor thrown in on the side. You can’t be around Fred and Melanie and not have humor.
Soon it was off to Stanley’s Old Maple Lane Farm for cocktails, Dinner, and of course dancing. If you’ve never been to Stanley’s do yourself a favour and go take a look. The staff is very friendly, the grounds gorgeous, and the food delicious.
Melanie and Fred again thank you so much for having us share in your wedding day you made us feel as we were part of the family.
