A Honeymoon To Remember

So tonight I was doing a little research *shopping* online and I came across one of the most brilliant ideas I have seen in a long time.

A HONEYMOON REGISTRY

Yes I’m well aware that I was yelling but it’s because I really thinks it’s that awesome. So many couples live together before they get married or at the very least have a place of their own. Long gone are the need for toasters, towels, and linens. It is a known fact that couples are also getting married later in life after they’ve worked for a while. This is where the Honeymoon registry comes in. Couples can go on and register the honeymoon of their dreams.

Now I know that may people think this might be tacky but I think it’s brilliant. I don’t like just giving cash but I also hate the thought that the wedding gift I’m buying might be deemed useless by the couple as well. I’d so much rather gift them things off their registry so they can have an amazing trip. All this being said I’m envisioning that the couple was already planning on join to this destination and these gifts are just added on to make the trip that much more amazing.

Anyway I’m curious what you think about this idea. If you had a friend or family member getting married and registered would you use it and buy for them off the registry?
